I am grateful to a good column that got me started on this list; it was by Mini Racker on “7 Signs That Point To Kamala Harris Defeating Trump”. They are impressive signs, and I doubled her list with a few observations of my own:
Your message certainly resonates for the “never Trump” segment of the electorate. It makes sense to me, regardless of the confusion enabled by the chicken-shit trio: NYT, WAPO and LA Times. Trump’s win in 2016 demonstrated that polls are not always accurate. Your reference to high-powered celebrity support, plus republican leaks, particularly among women are consistent with the excitement generated by Harris as they close in on November 5.
To me, the real question revolves around the down-ballot races for representatives, senators and governors. Any meaningful shift that improves the legislative leverage of the Democrats would be truly helpful to bring the nation back to earth from the cancer that is Donald Trump and MAGA.
